According to data monitored by on-chain data analyst @ai_9684xtpa, an "ancient whale" that participated in the 2014 Ethereum initial coin offering (ICO) seems to be selling Ethereum (ETH) again, transferring 15,000 ETH to exchange addresses in batches over the past two days, worth approximately $38.07 million.
According to @ai_9684xtpa, this whale acquired 150,000 ETH at an average price of $0.31 in 2015, which was then distributed to multiple addresses. Earlier this June, it transferred 10,000 ETH to exchanges, and by late September, the whale began frequently transferring out ETH, having seemingly sold 30,000 ETH since September 22, worth $77.4 million, with an average selling price of about $2,580. It currently still holds 45,000 ETH.
